It is possible, to take a scenic flight by waterplane over the nearby coastal mountains, directly from our jetty. Your chances to discover a bear or moose are good.

Come and visit a real Rodeo, where men still fall of horses like real men and where women race around barrels with their horses during barrel races.

In Anahim you will find, far from the beaten track, a rodeo with predominantly local participants, in the beginning of July. The Rodeo of Williams Lake, during the last weekend of June, is the largest rodeo in BC and offers an attractive program.

The trip over the Heckmann Pass to Bella Coola, about 190 km away, showcases a very diverse landscape and is extremely interesting. The 60km of gravel road between Anahim and Bella Coola will provide a sense of adventure.

The Heckmann Pass is the start for hikes of varying lengths in the direction of Rainbow Range.
The ride down into the Bella Coola Valley is not very challenging in dry conditions, but can be a real adventure when wet.
The vegetation on the valley floor is constantly changing, as you are approaching the ocean.
Bears can be observed in late autum, when trout is traveling upstream.
