Fishing

In Canada, firmly rooted in the history and tradition of the country, fishing still enjoys great popularity today. Western Canada is a paradise for anglers. British Columbia has 25,000 lakes, 20,000 miles of coastline and thousands of kilometers of rivers.

You can unpack your fishing gear only a few steps away from our lodge. Clearwater Lake which is located directly next to the ranch, has trout up to a weight of approximately 3.5 kg. Our canoes are available for free use.

A fishing license can be bought on the ranch for a fee of $ 20/day. A 5-day license costs $50 and an annual license $80. Youth below 16 years do not need a license if they are accompanied by an adult with a license.

If you prefer something a little more remote and prefer to fish in remote lakes and rivers you could start your fishing trip tour with a waterplane or helicopter ride and throw out your fishing line in the higher mountain areas. The presence of salmon in the rivers depends on the seasons.
