By car
1. Travel eastwards, from Vancouver on Hwy. 1 through the spectacular Fraser Canyon to Cache Creek, or travel directly north on Hwy. 97 via Whistler to Lake Williams, then west on Hwy. 20 West to Kleena Kleene. Once you see the town sign it's another 7 km before you will notice the well signposted Terra Nostra entrance on your left.
As an alternative, you can travel south from Riske Creek to Big Creek through the imposing Farwell Canyon, then north up to Hanceville, where you will meet Hwy 20, again.
By ferry
2. From Vancouver, take the ferry from Tsawwassen or Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo on Vancouver Iceland. Subsequently, take a pre-booked ferry north to Port Hardy along the impressive Inside Passage to Bella Coola. From Bella Coola to the Freedeom Road (Hwy. 20 east) the route passes through different landscapes, grassy plains, picturesque canyons and high mountain peaks. The crossing of the Heckman Pass via a gravel road (about 60 km) is a special experience.

These two journeys combined can be taken as an impressive and interesting round trip and will take seven to nine days.
By plane
