Hiking
Well-marked trails lead directly from the Terra Nostra Ranch into the unspoilt countryside, past rivers and lakes, conifer woods or steppe-like areas. The hikes offer numerous opportunities to observe wildlife such as bald eagles, moose, beavers, loonies, various birds, or even a bears.
Start from the boat house and canoe to the other side of the Clearwater Lakes and from there hike to Inspiration Point.
It is also possible to go hiking in the coastal mountains closeby. You can to be flown to one of the mountain lakes by water plane and start exploring this wonderful area from there.
